On occasion a hamburger is much more than only a plain ole hamburger when some small spins are added to the usual recipe. Switch your plain burger patty to a hot, sweet gourmet hamburger which may be savored with every snack.
Believe it or not, gourmet hamburgers are a breeze to create and use ingredients which you may see in your kitchen cabinet or fast in the shop. What you are doing is just adding a few more spices and herbs to provide the hamburger a very distinctive taste. The recipes represent distinct cultural influences that turn a typical beans into something quite unique.
Easy Teriyaki Burgers
In a small bowlcombine 1/2 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce plus 1/2 tsp of black pepper.
Add 1/4 cup of this teriyaki sauce mix into the ground beef and mix well.
Cover and cook patties over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes till they achieve a medium doneness. Turn patties over and brush remaining teriyaki sauce while still patties are still cooking. Remove patties from heat and set on buns.
Insert on berries, lettuce and condiments.
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter until it sizzles; insert the chopped onions. Cook onions over moderate heat (35 – 40 minutes); stirring occasionally until they’re tender and a deep golden brown colour.
Stir in 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves, 1 tsp white wine vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper and 1/8 tsp of salt. Keep on cooking onions, while stirring periodically, until the onions become caramelized (about 5 minutes).
In a big bowl, add 1 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef, two tablespoons of stone ground mustard and 1/4 tsp of salt. Mix lightly then form into four 3/4-inch thick patties. Coat both websites of patties with two tsp of coarsely ground pepper.
Toast 4 hamburger buns and place patties on every. Top every hamburger with 1/4 cup of caramelized onions.
